Chanel to host Cruise 2027 show in Deauville

Chanel has announced that creative director Matthieu Blazy will present the brand’s Cruise 2027 collection in Deauville on April 27, 2027. The choice of location honors the historical connection between the fashion house and the Normandy seaside resort, where Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel opened her first ready-to-wear store in 1912.

Bruno Pavlovsky, president of fashion at Chanel, noted that Deauville represents a turning point in the house’s history. This marks Blazy’s second cruise collection since taking the creative leadership role in 2024, following his previous show in Biarritz. The brand has maintained a presence in Deauville through various initiatives, including a partnership with the Deauville American Film Festival since 2019 and a 2024 runway show that replicated the town’s famous boardwalk.
