Chang Ming-min and Kao Ming-chun announce solo concerts

Veteran singers Chang Ming-min and Kao Ming-chun have announced upcoming solo concerts in Hong Kong and Taiwan, respectively.

Chang Ming-min, known for the classic song ‘My China Heart’, will hold his first Hong Kong solo concert at the Kai Tak Sports Park on November 28. After six unsuccessful attempts to secure a venue at the Hong Kong Coliseum over the last decade, Chang successfully obtained approval for the Kai Tak venue. He noted that he is only planning a single performance due to concerns regarding ticket sales and the venue's location. The concert is expected to feature a range of music, from wartime songs to Mandarin pop hits from the 1960s through the 1980s.

In Taiwan, singer Kao Ming-chun will hold his first solo concert in 38 years at Zepp New Taipei on October 23. For the event, Kao has invited veteran singer Chen Ai-mei to join him on stage. The two performers, who rose to fame together decades ago, will reunite to perform their classic duet ‘Who Says I Don't Care’.
