Changan Automobile expands Tianshu Linghang intelligent driving technology

Changan Automobile is advancing its proprietary intelligent driving assistance system, Tianshu Linghang. Data released by Changan Qiyuan indicates the system has successfully helped users avoid 1,546,019 potential safety accidents to date. The technology is built on the self-developed Tianshu Intelligence system, which offers multiple tiers (Pro, Max, Ultra, and Ultimate) featuring varying levels of computing power, LiDAR integration, and natural language interaction capabilities.

Changan Automobile Vice President He Gang predicts a major industry consolidation in the intelligent driving sector by 2028, suggesting only five to six competitive solution providers will remain in the Chinese market. The company has invested over 60 billion yuan into Tianshu Linghang, supporting a research team of 7,500 people. The technology is being rolled out across Changan's brands, including Changan Qiyuan, Deepal, and Avatr.

The Changan Qiyuan Q06, the first model to implement this technology, has entered pre-sales with over 11,000 orders placed within two hours. Looking ahead, Changan plans to deploy high-speed Navigation on Pilot (NCA) solutions in overseas markets next year and is preparing for the large-scale implementation of L3-level autonomous driving, which is expected to scale as regulatory standards evolve.
