Changan Automobile reaches 1,000 units in first year in Portugal

Changan Automobile has completed its first year of official operations in Portugal, reaching a milestone of nearly 1,000 registered units or confirmed sales. The brand entered the Portuguese market on September 19, 2025, through a strategic distribution partnership with Grupo Auto-Industrial.

Since its launch with the Deepal S07 EV, the brand has expanded its product lineup to include the Deepal S05, available in both all-electric and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) versions. The S05 PHEV offers an electric range of approximately 100 km and a total range exceeding 1,000 km.

To support its growth, Changan has established a distribution network of 20 dealerships across the country. The company also secured a partnership with the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) in May, becoming the official automotive partner of the national team. The brand provides a seven-year or 160,000 km warranty on vehicles and an eight-year or 200,000 km warranty on batteries.
