Changan Group unveils SDA Pilot intelligent driving technology
Changan Group has introduced its internally developed intelligent driving technology, known as SDA Pilot. The system is designed to enhance vehicle safety, comfort, and driving ease through an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) that utilizes sensors, artificial intelligence, and large-scale models to interpret surroundings and provide natural driving responses.
The technology is offered in three versions: Pro, Max, and Ultra. The Ultra version features high-end hardware, including a 560 TOPS computing chip and a 256-line Lidar sensor. It supports urban and highway driving assistance, intelligent parking across more than 400 scenarios, and 31 active safety functions. The system was trained on over 20 million segments of real-world driving data and supports natural language voice commands.
Changan has been developing intelligent driving technology since 2009. To support these advancements, the company has invested over 7.7 billion euros in research and development, employing a team of more than 7,500 engineers. The Changan Nevo Q06 will be the first production model to feature the SDA Pilot Ultra system.
