Changan launches virtual showroom at Autofest Caracas

Changan has introduced an innovative Virtual Showroom at the 15th edition of Autofest Caracas. The platform provides a 360-degree interactive experience, allowing users to examine vehicle details such as the exterior, interior, engine, and trunk via mobile devices.

The technology utilizes Gaussian Splatting to create hyper-realistic 3D scenes, captured with XGRIDS PortalCam cameras. This implementation has been certified by XGRIDS as the first successful commercial use of Gaussian Splatting in the automotive industry. The platform also features PANDi IA, an artificial intelligence assistant capable of providing real-time technical specifications through web and WhatsApp interfaces.

Developed entirely in Venezuela by the team at the creative computing, the tool supports Changan’s network of 17 dealerships. According to CAVENEZ data, the Asian brand has seen a 90% growth in Venezuela between January and September 2026 compared to the same period in 2025.
