Changhua County advances public works and community park projects
Changhua County is advancing several public works and community development initiatives. The county government recently held the 3rd Public Works Quality Award ceremony, honoring 21 projects for excellence in civil engineering, water conservancy, architecture, and cultural heritage. Magistrate Wang Hui-mei noted that the county's public works inspection grade A rate has risen from 58% to 90%.
In terms of community amenities, the county is expanding its recreational infrastructure. Construction has begun on the Shigu Exploration Forest playground in Shengang Township, a 20 million TWD project designed to integrate forest elements and serve all age groups. Additionally, the Dacheng Chifeng Park has officially opened in Dacheng Township. This 22 million TWD facility features a unique transportation-themed playground and connects to the Dacheng Sports Park to create a 4-hectare recreational area.
These projects are part of the county's 'one township, one characteristic park' policy, which aims to enhance local living standards through specialized public spaces.
