Changhua County announces holiday waste schedules and new Yuanlin office construction

The Changhua County Government has announced several administrative updates and infrastructure developments. To prepare for the upcoming three-day National Day holiday from October 9 to October 11, the Environmental Protection Bureau has released a detailed waste collection schedule for the county's 26 townships and cities. Residents are advised to check specific collection times and avoid leaving trash in public spaces during service suspensions.

Additionally, the Changhua County Government has broken ground on a new administrative complex in Yuanlin. Funded with 196 million TWD, the four-story building will house the Yuanlin Land Office and the Yuanlin Household Registration Office. The project aims to create an integrated service cluster near existing tax and health facilities, providing residents with one-stop access to property registration, identity management, and other public services. The new facility is expected to be completed in 2028.
