Changhua District Court employee found dead in office

A male employee of the Changhua District Court was found dead in his office on the afternoon of August 16. Following an autopsy conducted by prosecutors and forensic experts on August 17, authorities have ruled out external foul play.

Preliminary findings and information collected from the scene suggest the death was a suicide related to personal investment losses. The court stated that the incident was unrelated to work pressure, the workplace environment, interpersonal relationships, or workplace bullying, a conclusion with which the family has not expressed objection.

The court has activated support mechanisms, including individual and group psychological counseling for colleagues affected by the event, while continuing to assist the deceased's family.
