Changpeng Zhao predicts Bitcoin will surpass gold in value

Binance co-founder Changpeng Zhao, also known as CZ, predicts that Bitcoin will eventually surpass gold in value. During a keynote discussion, Zhao suggested that Bitcoin reaching a price of $1 million per coin is a matter of time, potentially occurring as early as the next bull run.

Zhao noted that the current market value gap between Bitcoin and gold is only tenfold, which he views as a relatively small margin. He argued that nations should consider establishing strategic cryptocurrency reserves, though he acknowledged that major countries will require several years to develop the necessary valuation and custody infrastructures to replace established gold-based mechanisms.

While advocating for Bitcoin, Zhao also recommended that crypto reserves include the five largest digital coins rather than relying solely on Bitcoin. He expressed high confidence that no other digital currency is likely to overtake Bitcoin in its ascent to becoming a primary strategic reserve asset.
