Changwon City initiates citizen pledge evaluation and job fair

Changwon City has launched the ‘2026 Citizen Pledge Evaluation Group’ to review the feasibility and specificity of municipal promises. The group, composed of citizens selected through random drawing and interviews to ensure diversity, will provide feedback on the implementation plans of the 5th municipal administration. Mayor Gang Gi-yun stated that these pledges represent a commitment to citizens and that the evaluation will help ensure tangible changes.

Additionally, Changwon announced the ‘2026 Gyeongnam Job Fair’ to be held at the Changwon Convention Center (CECO). The event aims to connect local companies with job seekers through on-site recruitment, counseling, and career workshops.

In separate news, BNK Kyongnam Bank conducted an ESG management initiative by collecting 615 donated books from employees. The books were donated to ‘Beautiful Store’ to be sold, with proceeds supporting local underprivileged groups and environmental protection activities.
