Changzhou hosts 2026 Cross-Strait Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition

The 2026 Cross-Strait Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition concluded in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province. The event focused on new quality productive forces across five tracks: high-end manufacturing, electronic information, new energy and new materials, synthetic biology, and cultural/creative services.

During the ceremony, several cooperation agreements were signed. The Jiangsu Taiwan Youth OPC Entrepreneurship Express was officially launched, establishing OPC communities in Changzhou, Nanjing, and Suzhou to provide specialized services and a green channel for AI entrepreneurship for Taiwanese youth. Additionally, Xindang Electronic Technology (Nanjing) Co., Ltd. signed cooperation agreements with several universities to establish training platforms and provide technical guidance for participating projects.

Local authorities in Changzhou have introduced various policies, including the “Three-Year Action Plan for Deepening High-Quality Industrial Integration” and the “Dragon City Talent Plan” 2026 upgrade, to support the development of the “Taiwanese Youth Wisdom Port” innovation base. The competition attracted 209 registered projects, with 12 projects signing agreements to settle locally and 10 projects completing business registration during the event.
