Chania Municipality announces 2026–2027 sports programs

The Municipality of Chania has announced the launch of its sports programs for the 2026–2027 period. These activities will take place in municipal gyms, fitness halls, and open outdoor spaces throughout the municipality.

Registration for indoor programs begins on Monday, October 19, 2026, and must be completed exclusively online via the official Chania municipality website using TAXISnet credentials. In contrast, participation in programs held in open outdoor spaces is free of charge and does not require electronic registration.

The initiative aims to promote physical activity, improve physical fitness, and enhance the mental and physical well-being of citizens through organized exercise and socialization.
