Chania Nautical Club to host charity Beach Water Polo event

Beach Water Polo Chania Nautical Club charity event Sevi Voloudaki Crete

Sevi Voloudaki, the Deputy Minister of Migration and Asylum and Member of Parliament for Chania, along with the Chania Nautical Club, is organizing a Beach Water Polo event at the Old Port of Chania. Scheduled for Saturday, September 12, at 18:00, the event marks the start of the 2026-2027 water polo season.

The match will feature a competition between the Chania team and veterans. To provide social impact, donation boxes will be available to support various organizations, including ELEPAP, K.H.F.A. AMHEA, KHFAP ‘Megalocharis’, ‘Orizontas’, and the volunteer group ‘Mazi gia ton Mano’.

The celebration will include traditional Cretan music and dance. The event is co-organized by the Municipality of Chania and the Chania Municipal Port Authority, with free admission for the public.
