Chanmina to provide theme song for Haruka Ayase film ‘First Voice’

Artist Chanmina’s new song ‘History’ has been selected as the theme song for the upcoming film ‘First Voice,’ starring Haruka Ayase. A special theme song movie featuring footage from the film has also been released.

Set in 1989 during the peak of the Japanese asset price bubble, the film is inspired by the first harassment-related lawsuit in Japan. The story follows Michiko Asahi (played by Ayase), a well-meaning lawyer, and Megumi Uehara (played by First Summer Uika), who fight an unprecedented legal battle against workplace harassment.

Chanmina commented that the song’s themes of strength and emotion align with the protagonists' struggle against societal norms. ‘History’ is expected to be included in her upcoming album, ‘LEGEND.’ The film is scheduled for nationwide release on October 2.
