Channel 4 denies feud between Bake Off judges Nigella Lawson and Paul Hollywood

Channel 4 has dismissed reports of a feud between longtime 'The Great British Bake Off' judge Paul Hollywood and new co-judge Nigella Lawson.

Speculation arose following reports that Lawson found Hollywood’s travel arrangements, specifically his use of a helicopter to commute to the filming location at Welford Park, to be “rather cringe” and “ghastly.” Sources suggested the two judges were not getting along while filming new episodes ahead of the show’s September return.

During a speech at the Edinburgh TV Festival, Channel 4 executive Kiran Nataraja addressed the rumors, stating that Lawson and Hollywood are not “arguing about helicopters the whole time.” Lawson joins the program following the departure of Prue Leith and will appear alongside Hollywood, Alison Hammond, and Noel Fielding.
