Channel 4 Replaces The Undeclared War Season 2 with Celebrity Hunted

Channel 4 confirmed that the second season of its cyber‑thriller series *The Undeclared War* will conclude on 5 August 2026 and will be succeeded in the primetime slot by the reality competition *Celebrity Hunted*.

Season 2 follows the GCHQ Malware Department as they confront a massive Russian cyber‑attack that is later revealed to have been orchestrated by China. The storyline culminates in the exposure of a mole – Barbara Napier (played by Siân Brooke) – who compromised the agency to protect her husband, Danny Patrick (Simon Pegg). Pegg described his character’s reaction as “devastating” and “poleaxed” in comments to the Radio Times.

The series, starring Simon Pegg and Siân Brooke, returned four years after its debut and aired on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Channel 4 announced that *Celebrity Hunted* will take over the slot on Monday and Tuesday evenings.
