Channel 4 worker found dead in North Wales sea
An inquest has heard details regarding the death of Lolita Visa, a 32-year-old digital media librarian for Channel 4, who was found dead in the sea off the coast of Llandudno, North Wales, on August 26.
Ms. Visa had traveled from her home in Halifax, West Yorkshire, to visit her father in Manchester before traveling to Liverpool and Llandudno. Her family reported her missing after she ceased communication. A member of the public alerted authorities to a body in the water three days later. A post-mortem examination indicated that her injuries were ‘consistent with time submerged in the water’.
Channel 4 expressed that it is ‘shocked and deeply saddened’ by the loss of their colleague, describing her as an active part of the company community. Ms. Visa’s family has launched a fundraiser to assist with funeral costs and the repatriation of her body to her home country of Latvia.
