Channing Tatum discusses the impact of fatherhood on his parenting

Actor Channing Tatum has shared insights into how fatherhood has influenced his parenting style. In a resurfaced interview from ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’, Tatum discussed how being a ‘girl dad’ to his daughter, Everly, has softened his approach to raising children.

Tatum noted that having a daughter first prevented him from adopting a stricter parenting style. He remarked that it made it difficult to use a tougher approach, such as telling a child to simply ‘get up and keep going’ after a fall.

Additionally, Tatum reflected on the evolution of his perspective regarding gender dynamics in his career. He noted that while the ‘Magic Mike’ franchise was created by men, the films were significantly shaped by female designers and choreographers on his creative team.
