Chantal Poullain discusses health recovery and return to acting

French actress Chantal Poullain has shared updates regarding her health and her potential return to acting. After stepping away from public life since last December to undergo surgery and treatment for lung cancer, Poullain reports that her condition has significantly improved. While she occasionally experiences breathing difficulties, she is undergoing rehabilitation and regular exercise to regain her strength.

Poullain expressed optimism about her recovery, stating, “I am a fighter. No illness will bring me to my knees.” She aims to return to acting work as early as September.

In addition to her health updates, Poullain spoke about her close friendship with Czech actress Pavla Tomicová. Attending a film premiere to support Tomicová, Poullain praised her friend's resilience and character, noting their long-standing bond formed while working together in Hradec Králové.
