Chantel Brooks missing in California Bay Area

Fairfield police are leading the search for 36‑year‑old Chantel Brooks, who has been missing since July 17. She was last seen leaving the Le Nain Hotel, a single‑room occupancy hotel in San Francisco’s Tenderloin, at about 12:20 a.m., and later exiting a CVS store on Travis Boulevard in Fairfield at 1:45 a.m., wearing the same red hoodie, gray sweatpants, brown hat and fur‑booted outfit.

Brooks was driving a black 2021 Infiniti QX50 SUV with California license plate 9SBB134. The Fairfield Police Department is coordinating the investigation with San Francisco and Oakland police agencies. Family members have distributed flyers throughout the Bay Area and held a candlelight vigil at Fillmore & Turk Mini Park.
