Chapecó hosts cultural, health, and sporting events

The city of Chapecó, Santa Catarina, is hosting several local events and initiatives across various sectors. The 20th Photo Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, featuring 12 hours of continuous photography challenges across 12 themes with R$ 15,800 in prizes.

In healthcare, nurses from Chapecó and 27 surrounding municipalities participated in training to expand ear washing services. This initiative, held in partnership with UDESC, aims to increase access to this procedure within the regional health network.

In sports, local athletes achieved notable results. The Chapecó/AGIRC rhythmic gymnastics team won seven medals (four gold and three silver) at state competitions in Florianópolis. Additionally, Chapecó's men's futsal and boccia teams secured qualification for the regional stage of the Santa Catarina Open Games (JASC).
