Chapecoense faces 98.1% risk of relegation in Brasileirão

Mathematical projections from the Department of Mathematics at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) indicate a high risk of relegation for several clubs in the Campeonato Brasileiro. Chapecoense faces the highest probability at 98.1%.

Following Chapecoense, Vasco da Gama holds a 66.4% risk of relegation, particularly after a 4-1 loss to Palmeiras. Remo also exceeds the 50% threshold with a 59.2% probability. Other clubs facing notable risks include Internacional (41.7%), Mirassol (36.5%), Grêmio (33.3%), and Santos (30.6%).

At the opposite end of the spectrum, Athletico-PR, Palmeiras, and Flamengo currently show a 0% risk of relegation according to the latest calculations.
