Chapecoense returns to eFootball and passes FIFA pitch retest
Chapecoense has seen significant developments regarding its digital presence and physical infrastructure. The club has officially returned to Konami’s “eFootball” video game following a licensing agreement between the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) and Konami Digital Entertainment. This update allows players to use the club with its official uniform, increasing the team's digital exposure.
Simultaneously, the club's home stadium, Arena Condá, has successfully passed a FIFA pitch retest. The evaluation, conducted using the same technical safety and performance methodologies as the initial certification, confirmed that the field meets international standards for official matches. Soccer Grass, the company responsible for the pitch installation, noted that the positive result validates the technical quality and the importance of periodic maintenance to uphold these standards.
