Conversely, tech executives at G20 meetings advocated for increased investment in AI infrastructure. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg noted the high demand for skilled labor to build these facilities, while Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang urged governments to treat AI as essential infrastructure similar to water and electricity.

Other industry leaders expressed varying views on the sector's growth. Elon Musk warned of potential energy shortages that could give China a competitive advantage, while Google DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis suggested that human-level AI could have an impact ten times greater than the Industrial Revolution.
