Chapinero Alto, a neighborhood in Bogotá, Colombia, has been ranked as the seventh coolest neighborhood in the world by the British publication Time Out. It is the only Latin American neighborhood to appear in the top 10 of the 2026 guide.

The ranking, determined by a global network of editors and experts, evaluated 40 neighborhoods based on criteria including gastronomy, nightlife, independent businesses, livability, and sense of community. Time Out highlighted the area's strategic location, architecture, and cultural richness, noting the combination of urban life with the surrounding mountain landscapes.

Chapinero Alto is described as a residential area with a village-like atmosphere, characterized by sloping streets and a diverse scene of specialty coffee shops, bars, independent commerce, bookstores, and antique shops. The top of the list includes Jongno 3-Ga in Seoul, followed by districts in Rabat, Athens, Los Angeles, and Glasgow.
