Charata to host Festival Pre Laborde Chaco 2026

The city of Charata has been selected to host the Festival Pre Laborde Chaco 2026. Scheduled for September 5 and 6 at the city's amphitheater, the event serves as a qualifying stage for artists to join the Chaco delegation for the 2027 National Malambo Festival in Laborde, Córdoba.

Mario Zorrilla, president of the Chaco Institute of Culture, and Charata Mayor Rubén Rach announced that this marks the first time the qualifying instance will be held in the southwest region of the province. The festival will feature competitions in malambo, dance, and music. Interested artists have until August 25 to register via official social media channels.
