Charene Labuschagne Wins Miss Namibia 2026 Title at Gobabis Event

Creative director Charene Labuschagne, 27, was crowned Miss Namibia 2026 during a ceremony at Die Dam Resort in Gobabis. She succeeded Johanna Swartbooi, with Rechelle Hamanges named first runner‑up and Albertina Haimbala as second runner‑up. The pageant, sponsored by Debmarine Namibia and the National Housing Enterprise, awarded Labuschagne a house, a car, fuel, livestock and other gifts. Labuschagne highlighted her advocacy for female entrepreneurship, citing her work with Thrive Collective to provide training and resources to women in Erongo, Khomas and Omaheke. Organisers described the competition as a platform for social change and empowerment across Namibia.
