Charente-Maritime fatal car accident kills 21-year-old

A fatal traffic accident occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning in Montlieu-la-Garde, located in the Charente-Maritime region. A vehicle carrying three occupants veered off the road and struck a tree on the route du Pas de Baudet.

The collision resulted in the death of a 21-year-old front-seat passenger, who was trapped in the wreckage and died at the scene. The 27-year-old driver sustained critical injuries, and a second 21-year-old passenger was ejected from the vehicle, also suffering serious injuries. Emergency services, including aerial and ground medical teams, were deployed to the scene.
