Charitable donations support healthcare initiatives in Italy
Various charitable initiatives in Italy are providing financial support to healthcare services and patient care.
In Sori, the 23rd edition of the Soripiùsolidale event is being held to benefit the Fondazione Gigi Ghirotti Genova ETS. This foundation provides palliative care to over 1,600 patients annually through home visits and hospices. Funds from this edition are specifically designated for the new Progetto Hospice Albaro, an initiative aimed at establishing a stable facility to ensure continuity of care. The event features music, gastronomy, and local artisans.
In Varese, the association Valbossa IN Rosa has donated 13,500 euros to ASST Sette Laghi. These funds will be used to create a dedicated reception and relaxation room for patients awaiting radiotherapy treatments at the Ospedale di Circolo. The project, designed by the hospital's technical office based on medical staff input, aims to provide a more comfortable environment for those undergoing treatment. The donation was formalized by Director General Mauro Moreno.
