Charitable initiatives facilitate prisoner releases in Kerman and Pardis
Charitable initiatives in Iran are facilitating the release of prisoners through community donations and support associations. In Kerman, a group of women involved in religious and Quranic studies donated three gold coins to the Diyeh Public Headquarters to assist in the release of prisoners held for unintentional crimes.
In Pardis, the Prisoners Support Association reported that 35 prisoners have been released over the past six months with the help of donors. The association aims to release 50 prisoners by the end of the year. Beyond legal assistance, the organization provides livelihood packages to families, school supplies for children of inmates, and has partnered with a specialized clinic to offer free medical services to these families. Future plans include focusing on job creation for parolees.
