Charitable kit deliveries in Portugal and Brazil aid vulnerable groups
The Guides of Portugal association delivered a set of solidarity kits to the municipality of Montijo in Portugal. The kits, produced by children and youth from recycled materials, include cardboard games for institutionalised children, toys, animal scarves and containers made from bottle fragments, aiming to promote sustainability and community support.
In Brazil, retailer Comper provided approximately 100 personal hygiene kits to the Instituto de Recuperação, Proteção e Amparo à Mulher Dependente Química (IRPAMDEQ). The kits contain shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, sanitary pads and other essentials, collected during a Mother’s Day campaign to support women recovering from chemical dependency.
Both initiatives highlight local organisations’ efforts to assist vulnerable populations through donated supplies and community involvement.
