Charitable meal programs support hospital patients in Vietnam

Charitable initiatives are providing nutritional support to patients and workers at hospitals in Vietnam.

In Hanoi, officers from the Thanh Liet Ward Police visited the Tan Trieu facility of K Hospital to prepare and distribute 100 free hot meals. Working alongside medical staff, the officers provided nutritious meals consisting of meat, vegetables, and soup to patients facing difficult circumstances.

In Ho Chi Minh City, the Nhat Tam Zero-Dong Canteen, also known as the “Happiness Kitchen,” has been operating at Le Van Thinh Hospital for over five years. Established in April 2021 by the Hu Khong Volunteer Group, the canteen serves approximately 300 free vegetarian meals every midday. The service supports patients, their families, medical staff, and local laborers, including street vendors and students.
