Charities organize medical supply distributions in Argentina and Venezuela

In Río Grande, Argentina, the Fundación Bienestar is organizing a solidarity day on August 24 at the Chacra IV community center to collect unused medications. The initiative aims to redistribute these medicines to municipal health centers, where they will be dispensed only with a medical prescription. The organization is already coordinating home pickups for donations to assist families facing economic difficulties.

In Yaracuy, Venezuela, the foundations Petauros sin Límites and Guerreros Azules held a medical supply distribution event for 53 patients with type 1 diabetes. Participants received essential supplies, including slow and fast-acting insulin, syringes, and glucometers. The event also included educational activities focused on prevention and self-care. Organizers noted that some aid for these efforts has been sourced internationally, specifically from Colombia.
