Charity Association for Health Promotion launches free cataract surgery project

The Charity Association for Health Promotion in the Makkah region has launched a project to provide free cataract removal surgeries for 96 beneficiaries. This initiative, which includes both citizens and residents who meet specific eligibility criteria, was announced in celebration of Saudi National Day.

Dr. Aisha Abbas Netto, Chairperson of the Association's Board of Directors, stated that the project aims to transform values of solidarity and social responsibility into tangible health impacts. The initiative aligns with the health sector transformation program under Saudi Vision 2030, focusing on improving access to care and enhancing the quality of life for beneficiaries.

Interested individuals are encouraged to review the project requirements and submit applications through the association's official platform. Selection is subject to medical evaluation, eligibility verification, and available capacity.
