Charity campaigns provide toys and food to vulnerable communities

Various charitable initiatives have concluded in Uruguay and Argentina to support vulnerable populations.

In Uruguay, the “Un juguete, una sonrisa” campaign successfully distributed toys to children at the Centro de Barrios 1 Reyes Terra and the CAIF Serranitos in the Las Delicias neighborhood. Organized with the support of the Partido Nacional's Lista 79 social aid commission, the initiative aimed to provide joy to children from low-income families who often lack access to gifts.

In Argentina, the Mendoza Food Bank completed its tenth annual solidarity campaign. Executive Director Lorena Troncoso reported that the drive exceeded its goal of 15,000 kilograms of rice and lentils, collecting 18,000 kilograms instead. This donation is expected to provide approximately 85,000 meals to over 80 institutions, including schools, churches, and soup kitchens, primarily in the Greater Mendoza area and the eastern zone.
