Charity clothing drives collect aid in Ribeirão Pires and Campinas

Charity initiatives in the state of São Paulo have concluded their winter clothing drives, collecting significant amounts of aid for vulnerable populations.

In Ribeirão Pires, the Fundo Social de Solidariedade is hosting the ‘Varal Solidário’ from August 17 to 21 at the USF Centro. The event offers free clothing, footwear, and accessories to residents, utilizing items collected during the 2026 Winter Campaign. The initiative aims to provide autonomy by allowing individuals to select items that meet their specific needs.

In Campinas, the municipal winter campaign collected 15,889 kilograms of clothing, shoes, and blankets. Organized by the Municipal Secretariat of Development and Social Assistance through 165 collection points, the donations are distributed to municipal shelters, specialized centers for the homeless, and partner entities. The program has already benefited over 3,700 families.
