Charity collections held for kidney and burn research in the Netherlands

Various charitable organizations in the Netherlands are conducting fundraising campaigns to support medical research and patient care.

During Kidney Week, the Nierstichting (Kidney Foundation) raised €5,908.24 in the areas of Losser, Overdinkel, and Glane. The funds are intended for scientific research, innovation, and prevention programs aimed at protecting kidney health and improving dialysis and transplant processes.

Additionally, the Nederlandse Brandwonden Stichting (Dutch Burn Foundation) is organizing a collection in Ruurlo and Borculo from October 4 to October 10. This year's campaign is linked to the 3FM Serious Request initiative. The proceeds will support research into burn treatments, aftercare for victims, and prevention efforts to mitigate the physical and psychological impacts of burn injuries.
