Charity drives launched for pediatric medical equipment in Poland

Two separate charitable initiatives have been launched in Poland to support pediatric medical care.

In Kutno, organizers of the “Mikołajki na pediatrii” campaign are collecting donations for the Kutno Municipal Hospital. Running from November 4 to November 20, the drive aims to provide holiday gifts for young patients and fund essential diagnostic equipment. Targeted items include an ECG Holter, a specialized ultrasound probe, FENO-Spiro asthma diagnostic equipment, an ultrasound machine, and a body composition analyzer.

In Poznań, several Rotary Clubs are organizing the “Małe zęby – wielka sprawa” campaign to establish a dental clinic at the Karol Jonscher Clinical Hospital. The initiative seeks to support pediatric oncology, hematology, and transplantology patients who face severe oral health challenges due to chemotherapy and radiation. The funds will cover room adaptation and the purchase of specialized equipment, such as 3HD intraoral cameras and X-ray machines, to ensure children can receive dental care within the hospital to minimize infection risks.
