Charity drives launched in Mexico for winter relief and pediatric cancer support

Various charitable initiatives have been launched in Mexico to support vulnerable populations during the winter season. In Querétaro, the Municipal DIF System has started its 2026 Winter Collection, titled ‘Cobijando Corazones’. The campaign aims to collect blankets to assist families and individuals facing low temperatures, with distributions focused on the coldest communities. Local officials, including Adriana Olvera de Macías and Gabriela Valencia García, have called upon citizens, schools, and businesses to participate.

In Tamaulipas, the association Voluntad Contra el Cáncer Reynosa-Río Bravo is organizing a collection of toys and sweets. The drive is intended to support children with cancer and their siblings during a holiday celebration scheduled for the second week of December. The association is accepting non-violent toys for children aged 4 to 12, as well as monetary donations to assist with event preparations.
