Charity events in France raise funds for social and health causes

Various community initiatives in France have successfully raised funds for charitable organizations through sporting events.

In La Seyne-sur-Mer, a charity football match held at the Valentini stadium brought together over 300 spectators and several public figures. The event raised 5,000 euros, which will be donated to the local branch of Restos du Cœur to support its work for the underprivileged.

In La Ferté-Imbault, a solidarity sports session organized by the CCAS raised 218 euros for Généticancer as part of the Pink October breast cancer awareness campaign. The event included Zumba and HIIT sessions, supported by local coaches, the UNRPA ‘Ensemble et Solidaires’ association, and a cosmetic sales advisor who donated 15% of her turnover to the cause.
