Charity events organized to support local communities and cancer patients

In Villa Carlos Paz, Argentina, the Club Solidario De Mano en Mano is hosting a charity bingo event on Friday, October 30, at the Residencia Activa Nehuén. The initiative aims to collect non-perishable food items to support the Refugio Nocturno y Hogar de Tránsito Cura Brochero and local community kitchens. Organizer Virginia Laje noted that the event is a response to increasing social needs and economic difficulties, specifically aiming to assist the refuge as it works to reorganize its services.

In Santiago, Dominican Republic, the Oncoserv Foundation has announced the 15th edition of its Zumbathon, titled “Bailo Por Ti.” Scheduled for Saturday, October 31, at the Santiago City Hall, the event seeks to raise funds for cancer patients. Foundation president Ichanel Rodríguez described the movement as a way to show solidarity and community support for those battling the disease.
