Charity festivals in Germany and Austria raise funds for sick and disadvantaged families

In Ingolstadt, Germany, the Fun Arena charity summer festival marked its fifth anniversary, supporting sick, disadvantaged and needy people. Bavarian Tourism Minister Michaela Kaniber opened the event, praising the volunteer work of StreetbunnyCrew e.V.: “Der StreetbunnyCrew e. V. zeigt eindrucksvoll, wie viel Gutes durch ehrenamtliches Engagement, Zusammenhalt und Herzblut bewirkt werden kann.” The festival’s proceeds are directed to charitable causes across Germany.

In Kindberg, Austria, the Steirisches Tanzfest attracted about 200 dancers who performed a variety of dances despite hot weather. The event raised two checks of €1,000 each for families in the Bruck/Mürzzuschlag district caring for seriously ill children, covering therapy costs and essential home‑care equipment.
