Charity football match in Ostrowsko raises funds for injured player Łukasz Żegleń

A charity football match titled “Gramy dla Łukasza” was held at the LKS Dunajec stadium in Ostrowsko, Poland. The event brought together local clubs, fans and the municipal government to support Łukasz Żegleń, a promising young player from LKS Huragan Waksmund who is undergoing treatment and intensive rehabilitation after a serious injury.

The match featured a friendly competition, while the main focus was a fundraiser that included an auction of sports memorabilia and vouchers provided by the mayor, Wiesław Parzygnat. Proceeds were directed to cover Żegleń’s medical and rehabilitation expenses, demonstrating the solidarity of the regional football community.

The organizers thanked participants and donors for creating a supportive atmosphere that highlighted sport’s capacity to unite people around shared values of respect and assistance.
