Charity initiatives raise funds for autism and childhood cancer support in Spain

Various charitable initiatives in Spain are raising funds for specialized health and social support. In Cambrils, the 10th edition of the 'Deixa't prendre el pèl' campaign raised 13,258 euros for the Associació Autisme Cambrils. The funds, collected through sponsorships, donations, and services such as barbering, hairdressing, and massages, will support projects for approximately 70 families, including aquatic therapy and occupational workshops.

In Cerdanyola, the Som Vallès Trail race will benefit the 8000 Estels association. Founded by Joana Cervera following her daughter's cancer diagnosis, the organization focuses on raising awareness and funds for childhood cancer research. The association uses storytelling to help families navigate the challenges of the disease and the subsequent reintegration into society.
