Charity organizations in Peru secure property rentals and recoveries

In Peru, the Sociedad de Beneficencia de Huánuco has reached an agreement with the Huánuco Regional Government to resolve a long-standing property dispute. The regional health directorate (Diresa) will now rent its current location on Jr. Dámaso Beraún for 47,300 soles per month. This agreement follows a judicial eviction order that had been pending since 2019.

In Cusco, the Sociedad de Beneficencia del Cusco has successfully recovered a commercial property on Calle Ayacucho through a police-assisted legal process. The property, which previously housed a gym, had not paid rent since 2018. The institution plans to lease the recovered space, along with more than 10 other commercial properties, to generate revenue for its care centers.
