Charity races in Spain raise funds for childhood cancer research
Various charity running events are being organized in Spain to support childhood cancer research and leukemia awareness.
In Seville, the XIV edition of the ‘Tus Kilómetros Nos Dan Vida’ race is scheduled for October 25 at Parque del Alamillo. Organized by pediatric oncology professionals from Hospital Infantil Virgen del Rocío and the SEHOP Foundation, the event aims to gather 6,000 participants. Since 2013, the initiative has raised over 1.2 million euros for research and patient support. The program includes a 5-kilometer adult race and several children's categories.
Additionally, the town of Lecrín is preparing for its tenth ‘Ponte en Marcha Ya Lecrín’ solidarity race. The event features a running race, hiking routes, and community activities intended to support the fight for a cure for leukemia.
