Charity races in Spain support childhood cancer research

Various community initiatives in Spain are raising funds and awareness for childhood cancer research through sporting events.

In Seville, the XIV edition of the 'Tus Kilómetros Nos Dan Vida' race will take place this Sunday, October 25, at Parque del Alamillo. The event has seen a massive response, with all 6,000 participant bibs sold out in record time. The program includes children's races, an adult race, live performances, a charity shop, and a raffle. While the race itself is full, the public can still contribute via 'Dorsal 0', a method for making financial donations without participating in the run. The initiative has already raised over 1.2 million euros for research.

In Tomelloso, the Lorencete Municipal Infant School held its second Solidarity Race. Organized in collaboration with the school's parents' association (AMPA), the event raised donations for the Unoentrecienmil Foundation, which focuses on advancing research against childhood leukemia.
