Charity running events scheduled in Køge and Aarhus

Denmark will host two upcoming charity running events aimed at supporting specific causes.

On October 3, the Hero Run will take place in Køge. This family-oriented obstacle course features approximately 20 challenges over a 3 km route. All proceeds from the event will go to Legeheltene, an organization that works to provide active play and movement for hospitalized and vulnerable children.

On October 24, Aarhus Motion will host the Løb for Knæk Cancer in Mindeparken, Aarhus. Participants can choose between 4 km and 7 km routes. To maximize donations for cancer research, the organizers have opted to remove timing chips from race numbers, shifting the focus from speed to community and shared experience. The event features a large Knæk Cancer flower painted on the lawn as a symbolic landmark for runners.
