Charity runs organized in Klatovy and Litoměřice to support families

Various charitable running events are scheduled in the Czech Republic to support families and children in need.

In Klatovy, the ‘Chariťák’ event will take place on Saturday, September 12, at Kolonáda. The initiative aims to assist three families with children and one adult. The program includes various running routes, including the 4,000-meter Václav Anděl Run, as well as children's races and stroller-friendly paths. The event will also feature musical performances by bands such as Kamuflon, No Way, and Fiasko, alongside a wine offering from the Klatovy Wine Association, with all proceeds going directly to the collections.

In Litoměřice, the ‘Run for Foster Families’ will be held on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Střelecký ostrov. Organized by the Center for Foster Family Care, the event aims to fund tutoring projects for children growing up in foster care to help them overcome educational difficulties. The event includes 4 km and 8 km routes, children's races, and a walking path. This year, the association Nativitas will also participate with its ‘Safe Summer’ program, offering activities such as face painting and programs with volunteer firefighters.
